With our third installment of producing music videos for Galantis, we executed a video idea that falls within the visual language of our past animation explorations but also left space to evolve our collaboration to new heights. By adding depth to Galantis' musicality we complemented their music with three unique dance styles married each to their own animation look. For the dance styles we explored urban contemporary, aggressive hip hop and fluid popping freestyle. Each dance style added their own flare but also kept a solid foundation where it was easy to cut between each dancer. As for the animation, we chose aesthetics that would be different from one another and had the look married to each specific type of dancing.

Noah's fluid freestyling motions were paired with a minimalist geometric style. The angular robotic movements of Noah fit perfectly with the straight vector lines and hypnotic spinning ellipses

Eric's spontaneous and explosive contemporary dance moves really interacted with the space that he was in. We felt that playful foliage and carefree doodles would personify his dance moves the best. We always wanted to highlight the playful attitude of the music with our artwork.
